We are currently seeking a skilled desktop support engineer to join our team. As a desktop support engineer, you will be responsible for assisting our employees with computer hardware and software issues. You will work from the office and will be required to travel to the client’s location or connect remotely to assist with hardware installations, software installation\upgrades, systems integrations, and basic IT-related issues.
To be successful in this role, you should possess extensive knowledge of home and office systems, good problem-solving skills, and high-level interpersonal skills. A top-class desktop support engineer provides fast and effective support for clients experiencing basic hardware and software issues.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology
- Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals
- Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems
- Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues
- Ability to travel and work after hours when necessary
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Freshers with a relevant degree can also apply
