As a Software & Information Platforms Associate at Cardinal Health, you will play a crucial role in the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. Your primary responsibility will be to support the technical configuration, design, administration, development, implementation, and maintenance of application and information frameworks utilized by the organization’s application solutions. This is an entry-level position, and we welcome candidates with 0-2 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Application Support: Work closely with the Application Development & Maintenance teams and other Information Technology function teams to provide support for existing software applications and information platforms. You will be responsible for addressing technical issues and resolving problems to ensure smooth operations.
  2. Project Assistance: Participate in projects of limited scope and complexity under direct supervision. Collaborate with senior team members to contribute to the development and implementation of IT solutions, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
  3. Platform Enhancements: Assist in identifying enhancements and improvements for application platforms and information frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide valuable insights for long-term capabilities.
  4. Learning and Development: Continuously develop your technical capabilities by performing structured work assignments. Embrace a learning mindset to enhance your competence in handling routine tasks and gaining proficiency in various technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in information technology or a related domain.
  • Basic understanding of IT concepts, principles, and technical capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to resolve readily identifiable technical issues.
  • Ability to work under direct supervision and follow detailed instructions effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for learning and developing expertise in the latest technologies and tools.
