We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketing Automation Specialist with experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to join our dynamic marketing team. As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in setting up, building, and maintaining personalized and dynamic cross-channel campaigns, ensuring seamless customer journeys across various channels, including email, SMS, push notifications, and more. Your technical expertise in SQL, SSJS, JSON, and AMPScript will be essential for creating powerful and effective campaigns.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Setup, build, and maintain highly personalized and dynamic cross-channel campaigns (email, SMS, push, etc.) and customer journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  2. Configure email and omni-channel journeys with dynamic content, personalized templates, mobile responsiveness, and interactive elements to drive engagement and conversions.
  3. Utilize SQL, SSJS, JSON, and AMPScript to create queries for customer segmentation based on personas, triggers, or other customer attributes to optimize campaign targeting.
  4. Develop and maintain documentation on specifications, design, and test results in accordance with best practices and standards, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).
  5. Participate in Marketing Cloud implementation for new clients, leveraging knowledge in Marketing Cloud Connect to ensure seamless integration with other Salesforce products.
  6. Identify opportunities to optimize campaigns and customer journeys through data analysis and insights.
  7. Stay up to date on key platform enhancements and product updates to leverage the latest features and functionalities.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the team to engage in client discussions and sales journeys, gathering business requirements and specifications, and providing technical expertise and solutioning support.
  2. Recommend Salesforce technology offerings to align with clients’ business needs and provide insights into potential solutions.
  3. Assist in integrating Marketing Cloud with other Salesforce ecosystems, such as Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, to create holistic customer experiences.
  4. Ensure self-motivation and a desire for continuous learning and improvement to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving marketing technology landscape.
  5. Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey technical concepts and strategies to various stakeholders.

Must-Have Requirements:

  1. Minimum 2 – 4 years of hands-on experience working in marketing automation, specifically with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, in a technical role including Marketing Cloud implementations.
  2. Strong proficiency in Marketing Cloud functionalities, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Contact Builder, Automation Studio, Cloud Pages, Mobile Studio, Ad Studio, and Marketing Cloud Connector.
  3. Technical skills in HTML, CSS, AMPScript, API integrations, JavaScript, SQL, and JSON to create and customize marketing assets and campaigns.
  4. Hold relevant Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certifications, such as Developer, Consultant, or Email Specialist.
  5. Self-motivated individual with a strong desire for continuous learning and improvement.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Good-to-Have Requirements:

  1. Knowledge of additional Salesforce products, such as MC Personalization (Interaction Studio), MC Intelligence (Datorama), Experience Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Loyalty Management, or Customer Data Platform (CDP), is advantageous.
  2. Working knowledge of Einstein Analytics to leverage data insights for optimizing campaigns.
  3. Experience or familiarity with other marketing automation platforms is beneficial.
  4. Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and data migration best practices for seamless data integration.
