Job Description: Schneider Electric’s Services digital capability team is seeking a talented Salesforce Developer to join our global team. As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for analyzing and designing a Field Services solution on SFDC using the ServiceMax managed package. This role involves working with various business processes, including evolutions on the Field Service Application built on SFDC-Servicemax platform, integration with ERPs like SAP & Oracle EBS, integration through APIGEE & SAP-PI middlewares, and building REST APIs for customer-facing web applications.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirement gathering and analyze stories for requirements.
- Collaborate closely with architects on high-level design, including sequence diagrams, systems landscape, and swim lanes if necessary.
- Participate in business requirements analysis, specifications, build, user acceptance tests, and hyper-care phases.
- Execute developments (configuration, development, integration) in SFDC.
- Engage with ERP & Middleware teams in end-to-end designs and play a key role in defining Integration Architecture.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of LWC components, APIs & triggers.
- Provide technical support for a highly complex solution, enabling users to perform critical functions.
- Collaborate with the product team to propose design or code improvements to address recurring incidents and service requests.
- Communicate with and manage clients and stakeholders effectively.
- Maintain developer documentation for the new APIs to encourage adoption and best practices.
- Understand and work on integrating salesforce.com applications with external applications.
- Utilize your experience in reports and dashboards development.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce.com (SFDC) development.
- Proficiency in configuration and customization in Salesforce.com, Apex, and Lightning technologies (aura & LWC).
- Good understanding of the overall SFDC architecture and landscape.
- Knowledge and work experience in SFDC configuration, customization, programming with Apex Class/Triggers/APIs, and implementing new instances of Salesforce.com applications from scratch.
- Strong proficiency in Lightning Component Development and Lightning Web Components.
- Familiarity with REST API, JSON format API output, Web Services (WSDL), and other integration aspects.
- Experience in integrating Salesforce.com applications with external applications.
- Solid experience in reports and dashboards development.
- University or Engineering degree, preferably in Computer Science.
- Proven successful experience in data solutions in complex international environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and convince at various levels of the organization, in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and manage priorities.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Proactive problem-solving initiative.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong autonomy and ability to work independently.
