As a Junior Salesforce Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our Salesforce platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, configure Salesforce, and ensure the system meets the needs of our organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong interest in Salesforce administration and a desire to develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your key focus will be on providing an exceptional user experience, addressing support tickets, and prioritizing user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. User and License Management:
    • Manage user settings, including new user setup and deactivation.
    • Configure roles, profiles, permissions, and public groups.
  2. User Support:
    • Address and resolve support tickets promptly.
    • Provide first-line support to users in various departments (Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Service).
  3. Requirements Gathering:
    • Identify and gather requirements from users and stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges.
  4. Salesforce Configuration:
    • Implement Salesforce configuration changes, such as flow automation, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, and reports.
    • Configure objects, fields, relationships, workflows, schema, and security models based on design specifications.
  5. Data Management:
    • Perform data migration tasks using tools like Data Loader and Workbench for large data sets.
    • Conduct data loading and data cleaning tasks.
  6. Salesforce Development:
    • Utilize Dynamic Apex to access sObjects, retrieve field information, create Visualforce components, and execute SOQL, SOSL, and DML queries.
  7. Reporting and Analytics:
    • Design reports and dashboards using advanced techniques like dynamic filtering, summary formulas, change calculations, row-level formulas, and conditional formatting.
  8. Documentation and Training:
    • Maintain and enhance existing documentation and training materials.
  9. Communication and Collaboration:
    • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
    • Collaborate effectively within a team and work independently when required.
  10. Problem-Solving:
    • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Qualifications and Background:

  • Salesforce product knowledge and 1+ years of hands-on administration experience with Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator with Trailhead Badges/Super Badges.
  • Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification.
  • Additional Salesforce certifications such as Developer 1 would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of lightning components and/or Field Service Lightning, Salesforce Experience Cloud, CPQ, JIRA, Slack, and Pardot would be advantageous.

  • Proactive attitude towards platform enhancements and implementing best practice solutions.
  • Availability and responsiveness to questions.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules).
  • Enthusiasm towards continued personal/professional development in the Salesforce environment.
  • Willingness to work UK business hours.
