We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing as an individual contributor with a fair degree of accountability and minimal assistance. They will be tasked with executing unit testing to ensure the accuracy of their developments and realizing the development/requirements as per the provided technical specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications as per project requirements.
- Perform unit testing on developed code to verify its accuracy and functionality.
- Adhere to coding standards and performance measures set by the customer or the organization.
- Participate in all nominated trainings to stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices.
- Proactively work on self-improvement and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Create and maintain project documentation as required, ensuring clear and concise documentation.
- Perform comparison testing and report testing status to ensure quality deliverables.
- Identify and report defects or deviations from expected results during testing phases.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, project managers, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and suggest innovative ideas to enhance processes and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Developer or similar role with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, etc.) and software development methodologies.
- Knowledge of unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) practices.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and agile methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
