Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Salesforce Tester to join our team. As a Salesforce Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce platform. Your primary responsibilities will include creating test plans, test cases, scenarios, scripts, and procedures for new features, bugs, and enhancements. You will work closely with the development and quality assurance teams to define and implement end-to-end product test strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute manual test cases, test plans, and test suites based on functional and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with Agile Quality Assurance (AQA) Engineers to automate end-to-end scenarios and enhance testing efficiency.
- Act as the voice of quality in your scrum team and actively participate in team activities.
- Collaborate with other teams, product office, support team, and release managers to ensure seamless deployment of projects.
- Utilize JIRA and other Agile SDLC tools to track and manage testing activities.
- Identify, report, and track bugs using bug tracking tools, ensuring accurate and detailed bug reports.
- Troubleshoot and reproduce issues and defects to assist the development team in resolving them.
- Conduct testing of web service APIs using tools such as Postman.
- Keep updated documentation of test cases, test plans, and test results.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer/Tester.
- Strong knowledge of the Agile SDLC and experience working with JIRA.
- Proficiency in creating, updating, and maintaining manual test cases, test plans, and test suites.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools and ability to create detailed bug reports.
- Ability to troubleshoot and reproduce issues and defects effectively.
- Experience in testing web service APIs and working with tools like Postman.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud or Salesforce certification.
- Proficiency in SQL and query writing.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium.
- Knowledge of Java and Apex Java.
