Summary: Genesys is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic Go-To Customer team. As an Associate Salesforce Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Corporate CRM and driving operating efficiency across various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Care, Finance, Legal, and Professional Services. Your technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative approach will be essential in delivering innovative solutions built on the Salesforce platform.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in storyboarding and solution design sessions, offering alternate approaches, defining technical impacts, and providing sizing estimates.
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, following an iterative methodology.
- Drive projects to completion with a disciplined and organized approach, meeting established deliverable dates.
- Adapt to continuously changing priorities and challenges, maintaining flexibility in your work.
- Build integration components to facilitate seamless data transition from local systems.
- Create and manage custom objects, fields, and formulas within Salesforce.
- Collaborate in the integration process with other enterprise systems.
- Recommend and implement best practices for Salesforce development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of software development experience.
- At least 1 year of experience developing applications on the Salesforce.com platform.
- 1+ years of experience supporting Salesforce, including administration, reporting tools, data import/export, and API integration.
- Proficiency in web services, SOAP/REST, and integration tools.
- Strong knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, SOQL, and the Force.com platform.
- Force.com Developer Certification (DEV 401) and Administrator certification are required.
- Advanced Developer Certification (DEV 501) is beneficial.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated proficiency in technical writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
